OSituaries BOARD. P-f Bobby Glen Services for Bobby Glen Black- Blackmon Survivora include his wife. Lola Services for Miss Lola Banks, 81, Columbia, were held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, April 10, 1990. in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev.

Minns Robertson and Rev. Sammy Hargrove officiating. Burial waa in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under tha direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Miss Banks died Sunday, April 8, at Citizens Medical Center in Olla after an extended illness. Miss Banka was a native of Caldwell Parish, a retired Banks school teacher and a member of the Grayson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Mr. Jim Banka of Columbia and Mr. Joe Banks of Kelly, nieces, Mrs. Bobbye Chapman, Mrs. Lucy Long, Mrs.

Betty Jo Townsend and Mrs. Diane Santomauri; nephews, Rev. Sammy Hargrove, Mr. Glenn Hargrove, Mr. David Shell and Mr.

Terry Banks. Pallbearers were Terry Banks, Clenn Hargrove, M.E. Townsend, Don Bums, Brian Hargrove and Greg Hargrove. mon, 27, Olla, were held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 1990, at Standard Baptist Church in Olla with Reverends Scotty McDowell, Denver McBroom and Corky Evans officiating.

Burial was in Olla Cemetery under tha direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr Blackmon died Monday, April 2, at the Rapiaea Medical Center in Alexandria from injuries ha suffered in an automobile accident. He was employed by Penrod Drilling Company. Harvey William Carawav Infant Daughter Tucker Graveside services for Miss Medical Center in Shreveport Services for Harvey William Caraway, 72, Kelly, were held Tuesday, April 3, 1990, at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Joel Johnson officiating.

Burial waa in Pine Hill Cemetery in Urania under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home or Columbia. Mr. Caraway died Sunday, April 1, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War II and waa retired from Virgil Mae Tucker, infant daughter of Michael and Amy Tucker, were held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 1990 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson with Rev.

A.B. Masters, Jr. officiating. Services were under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. The infant died April 4 at Louisiana State University ENERGY.

In another matter, the Board accepted the resignation of CPUS Head Coach Johnny McCaa, and hired Coach Jim-mie Adama in his place. Adams was chosen from a list of five Candida tea. Executive Committee Chairman Bob Meredith said there ia a $3100 deficit in the quarterly financial report, but aimilar deficit waa made up from the general fund to keep from cutting employee salaries last year. "We're running about $1000 short a quarter," he said. The Board passed a resolution supporting the May 7 jury road tax proposition, noting that parish school buaes have to be able to get down the roads.

A resolution waa passed commending Students of the Year Mandy Evans, Douglas Robinson and Leilie Carter. Each was presented a gift certificate from Ronnie Darden of Homeland Bank, Perry Smith of Citizens Bank and Rodney Chapman of Caldwell Bank. reunion invite their family and friends to the reunion and remind them to bring a covered dish of their choosing. Also lawn chaira and Softball glovea will be required, ss there is always a need for more seating and there is always a softball game in the evening. Survivora include his wife, Linda Caraway of Kelly, a son, Danny Caraway of Columbia; two step-sons, Jimmy Lindsey and John Lindsey, both of Kelly, two daughters, Carolyn May of Grayson and Vivian Hutto of Winnfield; a atep-daughter, Beth Lindsey or Kelly three brothers, Richard Caraway of Olla, Elton Caraway and Norman Caraway, both of Yakima, Washington; two sisters, Mildred McQuillon of West Monroe and Lou Green or Dry Prong; Ruby Powell of Denham Springs, Mrs. Beatrice Shipp of Clarke, Mrs. Myrtle Garner of Monroe, Mrs.

Frances Smith of Columbia, Mrs. Helen Foster of Monroe, Mrs. Edna Shipp of Columbia, Mrs. Katie Gaugh of Iowa, LA; one brother, Mr. Fred Ellis of Monroe; one sister, Mrs.

Alma Ellis Cowan of Monroe; 39 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Mrs. Cook waa a native of Kansas City, Missouri, and a homemaker. She attended LS.U.

in Baton Rouge. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Omar Benton Cook of Crayson and a son, Mr. Jamea Benton Cook of Grayson. lour grandchildren.

Florence Ellis Bamburg Services for Mrs. Florence Ellis Clarks; seven daughters, Mrs. The program is open to any individu il or nonfederal organization that has implemented an innovation i.i energy efficiency or renew-' able resource technologies since January 1, 1986. Other Board members agreed. Bob Meredith said an organization similar to Dixie Youth at the Columbia ball park might be in order. Betty Robinson of the C.O.LT.S. organization of Brownville said their group would take over the park if the jury would pay for the liability insurance. C.O.LT.S.
