Al Grissom Jake Van Hoose ROBINSON Community By Mrs. R. L. Antley Martin- Antley A wedding of interest to their many friends in and around was that of Miss Christine Antley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Tom Antley, of this community, and Willie Mac Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Martin, of Winnsboro. Rev. Freeman of Dunn, performed the ceremony before a group of relatives and close friends in the home of the 'bride's parents.

The bride was lovely in a navy tailored suit trimmed in white with red and navy accessories. The groom was in dress uniform. Mrs. Alcus Maxwell, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Also attending the bride was Mrs.

Annie Jane Welch. Attending the groom was Mr. Aleus Maxwell and Mr. Arthur Nichols. Out of the community guests were Mr.

and Mrs. Buck Martin and Mr. and Mrs. T. J.

Martin of Winnsboro, and Miss Doris Jean Boleware of Delhi. A reception was held following the ceremony and Mrs. Shorty Antley presided over the refreshments. The couple left immediately after on a short wedding trip. They will stay in Delhi where the bride is a nurse at the Delhi Clinic.

The groom is home on a 30-day leave and will return to California, where his ship is docked on February 15. Shower Mrs. Nathan Robinson was hostess at a household shower for Mrs. Alcus Maxwell on January 15. Many games were played, then the honoree was asked to open her many lovely and useful gifts.

Copes and Ray Copes spent Sunday with Glenn and Joyce Kemp and Lonnie Cockerham of Ward line. N. Rester Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fuller of Dunn, and Rev. and Mrs.

W. E. King and son, Billy, of Newellton. Visiting Mr. and Mrs.

Arthur Nichols Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Shorty Antley and children, Nancy, Russell, and Mrs. Tom Antley and Douglas. Mr.

and Mrs. William Rester had as their guests Sunday Mrs. Hazel Rester and children and Miss Margie Rester of Rayville. Mrs. DeEtte Robinson visited Miss Joan Evans Sunday.
